Associate

Jake Desira is an Associate at Fenech & Fenech Advocates and works within the Corporate and Commercial Department. His expertise primarily lies in commercial advisory and litigation services, competition law and tax litigation.

Jake joined the firm in 2023. He earned his Bachelor of Laws degree and his Professional Award in Taxation in 2020. Following this, he completed his Master of Advocacy in 2021 and was admitted to the Bar in 2022. Furthermore, Jake is reading for a Master of Laws in International Business Law from the University of London, with particular focus on competition law and international commercial arbitration.

Prior to joining the firm, he gained valuable experience in international tax advisory and tax controversy, at a Big Four firm in Malta.

Jake is a member of the 'Malta Institute of Taxation' and is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars related to tax controversy and litigation.
