Fenech & Fenech Marine Services Ltd., one of the largest ship registration service providers in Malta and a leading branch of Fenech & Fenech Advocates, specialising in Malta flag registrations of all types of vessels from yachts to cruise liners and all other types of commercial vessels, is looking to recruit a Junior Legal Executive.
General Responsibilities include:
- Drafting all documentation required for the registration of vessels under the Malta flag
- Handling all legal aspects of ship sale and purchase transactions of Malta-flagged vessels
- Assisting the team with day-to-day casework and liaising directly with clients and relevant authorities
- Managing individual client relationships independently
Requirements of the ideal candidate:
- Demonstrates a keen interest in the technical aspects of maritime legal matters and takes a proactive, hands-on approach
- Able to work effectively under pressure and is results-oriented
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- A degree in Law (not yet warranted) or fully warranted lawyer; prior experience in maritime law or ship registration will be considered an asset
