Associate

Kristina Abela is an Associate within the Employment Department. She assists a diverse range of clients with both advisory and litigation matters.

Kristina joined Fenech & Fenech Advocates as an Associate in 2024. She graduated as a lawyer from the University of Malta in 2020, after having successfully completed the Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Master of Advocacy degrees. Her keen interest in EU Law led her to further her studies at Bocconi University where she read for a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree specialising in European Business and Social Law in 2021. She subsequently obtained the warrant to practice law in Malta.

Prior to joining the firm, Kristina gained valuable experience practicing law in areas such as competition and state aid. She also advised employers on whistleblowing procedures and immigration law, including processes related to the engagement of foreign workers.
