Bettina Cauchi
Trainee
Bettina Cauchi is a Trainee within the TMT Department at Fenech & Fenech Advocates.
Bettina joined the firm in 2025 after earning her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of Malta. Her dissertation, entitled “The hearing shall be as expeditious as possible?: An analysis of human rights cases in light of Article 46(7) of the Maltese Constitution”, examined delays in constitutional human rights proceedings.
Bettina has been actively involved in legal and academic initiatives. She served on the ELSA Malta Executive Board, first as Director and later as Vice President for Seminars and Conferences. She also spent a semester at the Università degli Studi di Perugia through the Erasmus exchange programme.
She is currently working within the Intellectual Property, Technology and Telecommunications Department, where she is developing her expertise in these areas while also supporting multiple departments across the firm.
Prior to joining Fenech & Fenech, Bettina gained experience at another Maltese law firm, where she focused on civil law matters and disputes, acquiring valuable practical experience and further strengthening her interest in this field.
