Luca Amato, Senior Associate within our ESG practice, recently attended the Legal ESG Europe conference held in Brussels on 21 November 2024. The conference delved into the substantive aspects of ethics and governance within the ESG landscape, the role that legal professionals play in this journey and how the rule of law is a fundamental part of ESG. Other sessions covered the regulatory framework to date and upcoming European ESG legislation that is in the pipeline.

Held at Baker McKenzie’s offices in Brussels, the conference brought together key stakeholders including KPMG UK General Counsel Jeremy Barton and David Rodin, a moral philosopher and one of the world’s foremost authorities on ethics and organisational culture.
