Fenech & Fenech Advocates held its fourth webinar in the Fenech & Fenech Advocates Maritime Series – Talks with the Industry Series on the 15 December 2021. This webinar focused on current market insights in the Superyacht Industry.

We were honoured to have had amongst us guest speakers Mr Ennio Buonomo, Senior Executive Member of Management at Codecasa Shipyards, who gave his views on the current record growth of the market, Mr Rob Dolling, Founder and CEO at Verpeka Dolling Superyachts who commented on both the current sales and charter demand and also on MYBA’s role in assisting the industry within today’s climate together with  Mr Anthony Buneta, Head of Business Development & Wealth Planning at SG Private Banking Monaco who provided insight into the current financing trends and the role of bankers in fostering sustainability in the building sector.

Dr Matthew Cassar, Associate within our Ship Finance Department and Ship Registration Department, discussed the latest legislative developments affecting yachts from a Maltese perspective and the latest trends in terms of yacht registration and finance.

Dr Alison Vassallo, Partner and Head of our Yachting Department, moderated the event.

Dr Ann Fenech  closed the Webinar by thanking all the industry panellists and subscribers to the four webinars organised by Fenech & Fenech Advocates as part of this year’s Maritime Series saying that the participation of guest speakers greatly  enriched these sessions. Due to the exceptional feedback received from peers and clients this series is set to become an annual event.
