Managing Partner Ann Fenech was invited last week  by The International Propeller Clubs – Italy  and SRM  to present a paper on “The Malta Flag – an asset to the owner in search of finance”  at their annual general meeting held in Malta in conjunction with the Malta Maritime Forum.  The Propeller Clubs Italy is a forum made up of Italy’s main ship owners and maritime service providers. Dr. Fenech discussed why it is that in today’s economic climate, Financiers need to feel sure that the flag state will support them in challenging times. Malta’s robust legislative framework which offers stability to ship financiers  is a main attraction of the Malta flag.
