Daniel-Luc Farrugia, Associate within our Marine Litigation Department, was invited to moderate a panel on “Decarbonisation & Accountability: Staying Ahead of EU Climate Rules” at the Maritime World Conference held in Malta last week.
He was joined by Ing. Abigail Cutajar, CEO, Malta Climate Action Authority, Evangelia Pouli, Lawyer & Assistant Registrar of Ships, Transport Malta and Camille Lopez, Founder, HY-Plug.
The panel examined several pressing issues relating to decarbonisation within the maritime space and the ways in which industry stakeholders are adapting in light of continually evolving climate regulations at regional level, as well as the uncertainty that persists at global level.
A big thank you to the organisers for an insightful and well-attended conference.
