Managing Partner Ann Fenech was invited to speak on the subject of empowering women in maritime affairs at an international seminar organised by the International Maritime law Institute on Friday 27th April. Dr. Fenech spoke via video link of her own personal experiences for the past 34 years and shared her thoughts and ideas on equality, quotas, professionalism, raising families whilst pursing a professional career, on the added value which competent ladies bring to board rooms and on how empowerment of women starts from the family environment which must not even speak in terms of males or females but competence.
