Last week, Ann Fenech, Head of our Marine Litigation Department and President of the Comité Maritime International (CMI), presided over the Gothenburg Colloquium of the Comité Maritime International (CMI).

The week included leading the Executive Council Meeting of the CMI, chairing the IWG Committee on the Ratification of the Convention on the Judicial Sales of Ships and opening the Colloquium, attending the sessions throughout the Colloquium, hosting a breakfast for the Presidents of the National Maritime Law Association and presiding over the General Assembly. The Gothenburg Colloquium included a Gala Dinner which had a theme – “the Roaring 20’s”.

The next CMI Conference will be held in Tokyo next year.
