Yesterday, Ann Fenech, Head of the Marine Litigation Department, was invited by Ambassador Djoeke Adimi-Koekkoek, Ambassador of the Netherlands to Malta, to address one of the monthly meetings held by the Ambassadors’ Circle, made up of Ambassadors resident in Malta.

She shared her thoughts on Malta’s multifaceted maritime vocation which dates back thousands of years, positioning the island as an ideal maritime haven equidistant from Suez and Gibraltar. She explained how Malta provides significant maritime services cutting right across the maritime space. She also shared some thoughts on how the local and international maritime scene was being effected by current geo-political challenges.
