06 OCT 2016 – Dr. Ann Fenech was invited to address the first ever Malta Maritime Summit held in Malta between the 3rd and 6th October, 2016. She moderated a panel formed to discuss the Cape Town Convention.

Dr. Fenech is the president of the Malta Maritime Law Association as well as the Chair of the International Working Group on Ship Finance, Security Practices of the Comite Maritime International (CMI). Dr. Ann Fenech is the first Maltese person to have been elected to sit on the Executive Council of the CMI.
