Dr. Nicolai Vella Falzon and Dr. Peter Grima recently contributed towards the “Upstream Security in Europe” brochure found here, a joint project edited by P+P Pollath + Partners.

This brochure aims to offer a concise and practical overview of the issues connected with the granting and taking of upstream security in Malta as well as 28 other European jurisdictions.

The brochure provides a basic understanding of the risks of granting upstream security in cross-border financing transactions and the legal issues arising in connection thereto.
