Fenech and Fenech Advocates congratulates Professor David Attard on his re-election to the Bench of the International Tribunal of the Law of the Sea (ITLOS). This further confirms the very high regard and esteem in which Prof. Attard, also Director of the International Maritime Law Institute, is held by the State Parties to the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).

ITLOS is an independent judicial body established by the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea to hear disputes related to matters covered by the  Convention. The Tribunal is composed of 21 independent members.
