21 NOV 2016 – Alison Vassallo who heads our Yachting Department addressed the Fiscal Workshop during the Global Superyacht Forum (“GSF”) held at the RAI Centre in Amsterdam between the 14th and the 16th November 2016.
The Forum, which is a yearly event attended by the firm, this year hosted over 700 delegates coming from across the entire spectrum of the industry, which a strong presence of Italian and Dutch yards, project managers, captains, brokers and corporate service providers.
Alison highlighted the most salient changes that are being currently faced by the industry with regard to the supply of duty free fuel to commercial yachts and the importance of yachting being recognised as a commercial sector in its own right at EU level.
