Ann Fenech, Managing Partner of the firm and Head of our Marine Litigation Department, has been invited to speak at the Superyacht Investor Conference to be held at the Landmark Hotel in London on the 30th and 31st January. The panel discussion will focus on issues related to judicial sales of yachts and a number of high profile judicial sales including the MY Indian Empress. Maltese law affords a number of privileges to financiers in case where there is a default in payment by the owner. This has contributed significantly to Malta’s position as a leading flag.
