Not far from Valletta, the ancient city of Mdina awaits. Known as the ‘Silent City’, Mdina is a fascinating maze of narrow, winding streets that lead to the majestic Mdina Cathedral. This former capital of Malta provides a serene atmosphere and stunning panoramic views of the island from its high bastion walls.

Another must-visit site is the Ħaġar Qim Temples, located on the southern edge of the island. These megalithic temples, dating back to approximately 3600-3200 BC, are among the oldest free-standing structures in the world and are a testament to Malta’s rich prehistoric heritage.
